By far the largest part of the book deals with the "machinations" of Zbigniew Brzezinski, whose "sole goal is to destroy Russia and who is willing to use any means to reach that goal". I am the last survivor of an advanced civilisation which existed on Mars. According to this book, Barack Obama was recruited by and is now a puppet of Zbigniew Brzezinski. My advice : save your money and go to movies instead. Well, Mr. They were both at Columbia University at the same time.And this is pretty much all the content of this book concerning Barack Obama.
He mentions only a few publications he quotes from, but the interested reader who might want to research and read articles himself is left without a list of sources. My proof. Mr.Tarpley doesn't give any solid proof for his statements, he just repeats them over and over again, maybe hoping that would make them true. Tarpley argues the same way. The proof. As a matter of fact, Barack Obama's name doesn't even appear in the glossary at the end of the book.If you are hoping for an informative, competent, fact based critique of the present American president, you will be disappointed. There, wild conspiracy theories will be presented in a much more entertaining and "enlightening" fashion.
Its funny how almost everybody who is doing a so-called "written review" of this book has only ONE review in their history. Its no suprise that almost all of the reviews completely miss the point of this book, too.John McCain is a Manchurian Candidate. And all the bad reviews found each other helpful. Some idiot is going around, writing a bunch of reviews on new Amazon accounts. Thats first of all missing THE ENTIRE POINT of the title; Second of all, the entire point of the book.Then they (the same person, probably) call the people who wrote positive reviews of this book "Sheep". The funniest thing about all of that is how ironic/unfunny/pathetic it is.
Obama has signed a bigger Stimulus Package than Bush2. A month and a half into Obama's administration has proven to be exactly what Tarpley expected. Although I don't agree with everything Tarpley writes, I can not deny the fact that he was right on point with what Obama's Administration was going to do once in office.1. Has backtracked on bring troops home from Iraq3. Although there has been alot of talk about closing Guantanamo, (a) it is not closed yet, and (b) there is not talk of closing other secret prisons that may exist.
I can't remember the last time I felt so ripped off by buying a book based on the cover. I was hoping for a good postmodern analysis of contemporary American politics, or at least a deconstruction of the role of media in a postcapitalist society. Instead I get loony-bin meandering and nonsense about quarter-century conspiracies that are absurd on the face. I am sorry I read this book and warn others to beware of false and misleading titles and covers.
I can state simply that if you have gotten past the blind sheep life of turning on the Channel x News at the same time every day where you absorb all you hear as law, then turn it off and start over the next day, then you're ready for the truth about Barack Obama. If you still watch Meredith and Matt every morning on NBC, then don't even bother, you're an entire dimension away from understanding the reality that is this book. Great work, Tarpley.
